Porta Diagonal is the result of a collaboration between the public and private sectors. An urban project driven by institutions and companies that have joined forces to create a new model of sustainable, connected, and people-centred city.
Porta Diagonal emerges as a new axis of connection between Esplugues, Barcelona, and Collserola. An urban environment designed to integrate nature into daily life, with accessible public spaces, green areas, and pathways that invite people to reconnect with the territory and experience it actively.
Porta Diagonal is positioned as the epicentre of the Health BioCluster, an environment where health, research and education converge. Integrated with hospitals, universities and innovation centres, the project promotes a city model where knowledge generates well-being and social progress.
An accessible pedestrian route, cycle lanes, green spaces and proximity to Collserola make Porta Diagonal a model of a healthy city, where people's wellbeing is at the centre.
